- Place mesh counter on stretched screen. Mesh counter can be placed over open area or emulsion coated area.
- Rotate mesh counter on screen, holding it firmly to the surface. This will create a moire pattern in the shaded area of the mesh counter.
- Read mesh counter where the diagonal line of the oire pattern converges.
NOTE: Read the mesh counter held vertically to count the threads that parallel in a vertical direction.
